Layered, thoughtful interiors shaped with warmth and California ease.

Studio Liv is led by designer Olivia Lindorfer, whose work is grounded in a simple belief: a home should feel welcoming, lived-in, and deeply considered. It should be designed with intention, crafted with care, and attuned to the people who spend their lives within it.

Olivia approaches each project with a warm, intuitive perspective and a steady respect for craftsmanship. She gravitates toward materials that carry depth and character, layering textures and incorporating vintage pieces with history to create interiors that feel grounded, inviting, and quietly refined. Her style leans into the ease of California living, a nod to sunlit spaces that are comfortable and effortlessly lived in while drawing from the richness of heritage design to bring depth and sophistication.

Before founding Studio Liv, Olivia contributed to yachting, aviation, and hospitality design endeavors within RH Design Development’s Places and Spaces division. She later refined her residential sensibilities under renowned San Francisco–based interior designer Marea Clark.

These experiences strengthened her ability to visualize a space long before it becomes physical, an instinct that continues to guide her work. She brings this sense of vision to every project, pairing disciplined attention to detail with a calm, collaborative approach.

Olivia’s inspiration is shaped by the places that have shaped her. The relaxed warmth of the Central Coast, the character of historic alpine cabins, the quiet strength of natural landscapes, and homes filled with collected objects all influence her way of seeing. She believes a well-designed space should feel both familiar and elevated, layered with meaning and crafted to be fully lived in.

Today, Olivia lives and designs in Santa Cruz, California, creating interiors that reflect a thoughtful balance of warmth, sophistication, and lived-in ease. These are spaces that simply feel good to inhabit and become the backdrop for what matters most.
